My art journey started as a painter and mixed media artist, making large textured wall hangings that were featured in various galleries and shops in Vancouver, Montreal and Peru.
Since taking a break and moving to Salt Spring, this has shifted to creating unique sculptural forms of nature-based artwork. The intention is to remind us of the healing beauty of nature, while providing a platform to discuss impactful topics like climate change and how we connect to the land these materials were sourced from.
Find below links to two collections of work. The first mixed media art created in my home studio in Vancouver BC between 2017-2019. The second a nature based collection created in my yurt on Salt Spring Island since 2021.
Although my execution has changed, you will always find bold textures, unexpected materials and alluring shapes delivered with rugged elegance.
